At age 16, fairies begin to develop abilities, one a year until age 20 when they get their fifth and final gift from the gods and their wings. Cayenne Blossom has struggled with her abilities due to the damage to the betrothed bond that Blaze Falcon has caused. Blaze is next in line to become king of the Rosebrook Village, but he wants no part of the one that is betrothed to him until her final ability, beauty sets in.
